The new International Accounting Standard on `Investment property', effective from 1 January 2001, is not expected to have a significant impact on the Group's financial statements. International Accounting Standards will continue to be developed and revised in the future. This will lead to further adaptations of the Group's accounting policies in the coming years. 2. Financial risk management Financial risk management within the Group is governed by policies approved by senior management. These policies cover foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, market risk, credit risk and liquidity risk.
